Caffe Mediterraneum blends perfectly into the elegant 1930s foyer of the Manchester Unity Building, on the corner of Swanston and Collins Streets. Marble-topped tables and classic black stools recall the coffee houses of yesteryear, while deep-coloured walls and a low central ceiling are more modern touches. There’s old-world family pride evident in the service and in the Crivelli coffee. Mellow music drifts through the galley-style space.
